Momo: Fra WhatsApp-kjedebrev for å utfordre
Momo Challenge startet som et kjedebrev.
- Opprinnelig ble kjedebrev sendt fra WhatsApp fra Momo-kontoen. Mottakeren ble bedt om å videresende brevet til 13 andre kontoer. Hvis det ikke skjedde, ville Momo - en skummel figur - være på mottakerrommet om kvelden.
- En utfordring utviklet seg da fra kjedebrevet. Det handler ikke lenger bare om å videresende en melding. Mottakeren sies å utføre forskjellige oppgaver som selvskading. På slutten av utfordringen er selvmord - den siste oppgaven.
- Hvis oppgavene ikke blir oppfylt, truer Momo-kontoen med forferdelige konsekvenser for mottakerens miljø.
- Mottakernumrene ble sannsynligvis generert ved å sende kjedebrevet.
- Hvis du mottar en melding fra Momo og svarer på den eller lagrer nummeret, kan andre Momo-kontoer få tilgang til nummeret ditt.
- Hovedmålgruppe for Momo Challenge er barn og unge. Derfor bør du absolutt snakke med barna dine om Momo Challenge og forklare dem at Momo er en falsk og ingenting skjer hvis de ikke følger instruksjonene.
- Hvis du får en melding fra Momo, er det best å ikke svare på det. Ikke svar, ikke videresend meldingen og ikke lagre nummeret.
Hvem er Momo og hvor farlig er utfordringen?
Politiet klassifiserer utfordringen som veldig farlig.
- I Frankrike og Argentina har utfordringen antagelig hevdet de første ofrene. I de to landene hadde unge begått selvmord etter å ha tilsynelatende vært i kontakt med Momo-kontoen i lang tid.
- Den første Momo-kontoen har sannsynligvis sin opprinnelse i Japan. Det er nå Momo-kontoer i Argentina, Colombia og Mexico som sender meldingene med et ukjent nummer.
- Så langt har bare kjedebrevet fra Momo kommet til Tyskland. Men det er sannsynligvis bare et spørsmål om tid før utfordringen kommer.
- Momo-kontoer bruker alltid det samme bildet: et skummelt, forvrengt ansikt av en jente med tunge øyne. Bak bildet er faktisk en skulptur av en japansk kunstner. I originalen har figuren til og med enorme kråkeføtter.
- Skulpturen representerer en ubumetori.Det er en skikkelse fra japansk mytologi. Man kunne oversette "Ubumetori" med "barnfugl".
